Alayne Hopkins
Alayne joined Rough Magic Performance Company in 2012 as co-creator of the Rough Magic Renegade Playreading Group. She has played leading roles in RMPC's Twelfth Night and What You Will and in Much Ado About Nothing (as told by Dogberry and Verges). Alayne has also appeared in numerous other theaters around the Twin Cities, including the Jungle Theater (playing the title role in the Ivey Award-winning production of Mary's Wedding), Dark & Stormy, Girl Friday Productions, Frank Theater, Park Square Theatre, Ten Thousand Things, History Theatre, Illusion Theater, Minnesota Jewish Theater, and more. She is a member of Actors' Equity Association and a graduate of Hamline University in St. Paul, MN.
Catherine Johnson Justice
Catherine is an award-winning film, voice-over, and stage actress. She founded Rough Magic Performance Company in 2004 and has performed in all of RMPC productions. She has also performed with many of the premiere theater companies in the Twin Cities, including The Guthrie Theater, Theater Forever/WLDRNSS theater, Ten Thousand Things, Pillsbury House Theater, The Jungle Theater, Dark & Stormy, Workhaus Collective, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Partizan Players, and many others. Her film credits include The Quietest Sound (winner “Best Actress” Fargo Film Festival), Two Harbors, Wayside Rest, Overnight Delivery, and several other independent films. Catherine is a member of the Actors' Equity Association and is graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and Carleton College in Northfield, MN.
